MSc Student
William Matheus de Oliveira Rodrigues is a Computer Engineer and MSc student at PPGC/UFRGS, working within the research line of Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence, with a focus on the feasibility of embedding Machine Learning models together with Post-Quantum Cryptography algorithms directly on low-cost microcontrollers, enabling real-time detection of and reaction to cyberattacks, as well as resistance to attacks from quantum computers, in residential IoT networks. With over 6 years of experience in the industry of Information Security, he currently works as a Senior Information Security Architect, leading a team of analysts whose goal is to map threats and risks inherent to applications and design solutions that are as secure, compliant, and resilient as possible. He also has hands-on experience with Blue Team, AppSec, and DevSecOps.
