Eder is a professor at the Institute of Informatics (INF) of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), specializing in computer networks, distributed systems, blockchain, and digital sovereignty. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Zurich (UZH) and has extensive experience in research, development, and project coordination within network infrastructure, security, blockchain, and decentralized architectures. He actively collaborates with the national and international academic communities through participation in events and technical committees, including IEEE ICBC, IEEE Blockchain Congress, CBlockchain, WBlockchain, SBSeg, NOMS, ERRC, and WRSSeg.
